go watch transformers...

and if you have time after, ratatouille.

that is all.

*edit* oh wait, that is not all, got this off a yahoo review:

"...I can say with all sincerity that it was the best movie I've seen in a long time. In fact, even my wife and I are going to see it again tomorrow on our anniversary..."

alright, the movie is definitely awesome, definitely on my top 5, but... i dunno, to spend an anniversary day watching it... AGAIN!?! ...

sure fire way to get some action on ur anniversary. i can just picture it now,

-"Hey baby" (bold type for the barry white effect)

~"yes hun?"

-" I have a special surprise for you.."

~ "oooh... what is it? give it to me"

- " hmm, i don't know if i should give it to you. how bad do you want it?"

~ "I want it real bad..."

- " Oh yea baby... here it is, two tickets to see transformers the movie... Again."

~ "...."

- "...ahem... you know, the 2nd time is always better... baby?... baby?..."

whatever floats ur boat i guess, but the romantic in me is recoiling in horror at the notion of watching an action flick during an anniversary.

lastly, just gotta say, transformers ruined all cars for me. i can never look at another car without feeling a twinge of disappointment.

well, my 3 weeks of solitude have come and gone. which, isnt bad. i thought it would have been better living by myself, but eh, i was running out of clothes. the entire 3 weeks i didnt do laundry. in the end i was down to my last 2 pairs of underwear and my socks with the holes in them.  plus all i did was sit in front of my comp eating chocolate and watching korean dramas. i even made up my own kdrama formula that is applicable for most of them. we have:

the female protagonist (FP) who's  so sweet and selfless that i end up falling in love with her. She usually comes with another male who beat me to the punch and worships the ground she walks on.

+ the male protagonist (MP), who usually gets off on the wrong foot with the FP and is usually entangled with another female before he realizes his love for the FP

+ the other female (OF), who's usually the incarnation of the wicked witch of the west, that'll do everything in her power to have me cursing nonstop at the screen everytime i see her on.

+ the other male (OM), who's actually a decent fellow that will do anything to please the FP, however, when its time for the FP and MP to hook up, OM's love for FP creates a stumbling block that leaves me mildly angry.

this ='s the love square, found in all Kdramas i have watched to date.

so to summarize: FP + MP + OF + OM = FPMPOFOM .... yes, this is the chemical compound equivalent to a korean drama.

well, i was watching the 2006 nathans hotdog eating championship and... i'm sorry to say this, move over Michael Jordan, Michael Knight, and the Ultimate Warrior... i have a new hero in my life.

kobi

thats right, Takeru Kobayashi. 58 hotdogs in 10 minutes?!? that is truly worthy of hero status.

so i was looking at the rankings at this competitive eating site. guess who the number 3 ranked eater is. u'll never guess. well.. unless uve been keeping up with this pseudo sport... but anyways:

sonya

what the!?! sonya thomas. 105 pounds of pure eating machine. dont believe me?

kobi and sonya

there she is, giving my hero a run for his money.

well, time for me to speak my mind about sports... yes, im not just about romance novels and asian soap operas. so heres where pretty much all of my readers can stop reading.

first off, congrats to the cardinals. i honestly dont know why some Mets fans are hating on them. Its cause they won, they made our loss significant. We lost to the champs. had they not won, we wouldve lost to nobodies. Plus i mightve rooted for the cards regardless, i usually like rooting for the underdogs, which is pretty much every team that goes up against the Yanks. damn Yankees. i exist just to loathe them.

Fantasy football: for the time being, i am tops in my league at 5-2. Larry Johnson has been keeping it real all season for me. rest of my lineup as goes:

QB - Vick

WRs - Steve Smith, Andre Johnson, Dante Stalworth (i know, he just came back from injury, but i expect big numbers from him the rest of the season)

RBs - well, other than LJ, ive been subbing guys in and out. havent found a consistent back to compliment LJ, but hopefully, either Frank Gore, Kevin Jones, or Cadillac Williams will step it up. (although i doubt Caddy will do anything, lately hes been running like a pinto)

TE - Desmond Clark

K - work in progress, but for now Feely... i dont even remember the guys first name.. might be Jay... but who cares about kickers.

DEF - Ravens. Just plain solid.

Fantasy Bball: well, to be honest i havent kept up with hoops the past 2 seasons as much as i wouldve liked. Pretty much tuned in during playoff time, thats about it, so my team probably isnt all that solid.

PG Joe Johnson

SG Kobe Bryant

G Brandon Roy

SF Al Harrington

PF Amare Stoudemire

F Emeka Okafor

C Ilgauskas - no first name, cause i cant spell it... Zedrunas?...

C Eddy Curry

man, i didnt even realilze kobe and amare had off season knee surgeries.... but, i still have a good feeling about those two. initially, i hated kobe. deep inside, i always saw him as the 2nd coming of michael jordan, since i always felt that there should be only 1 jordan, i resisted kobe and his dynamic talent. but lately, ive been coming to terms with kobe. now that i drafted him, i expect a full reconciliation between me and kobe. i apologize for being a hater kobe, now drop 60 a night.

kobe

yea, thats why you retired miller, you no ringed guy. couldnt hang with kobe.

another entry? so soon chur? yup, looks like i actually have something to talk about these days. k dramas. i am in the throes of another obsession im afraid to say. all i do is sit in front of comp munching on crunchy snacks and watching these dramas one after another. in chronoligical order, ive watched: full house, only you, 7 eps of dating now, 9 eps of bodyguard, my girl, 2 eps of alone in love, autumn fairytale, winter sonata, 2 eps of sang doo goees to school, 7 eps of save the last dance for me, sorry i love you, and i just started on green rose and spring waltz. this is about 111 hours worth of watching in the span of.... im guessing 3-4 weeks. yikes. intervention please.

so i started spring waltz and uh...well.... one of the male leads is just too good looking for my peace of mind. I've never used the word gorgeous to describe a guy, but well... thats what he is. Daniel Henney, this guy brought me perilously teetering on the edge of heterosexuality. I had to refrain from fluttering my lashes and giggling at the guy every time he came on screen. Seriously, just look at this guy.

daniel henney 2

daniel henney 1

It's just not fair. With Daniel Henning roaming the earth, its no wonder why ive been single for my entire life. i give up, i should just retire from being a man.

daniel henney

Take it easy there Henney. stop being so gorgeous... in all your sultry, virile, beatific masculunity.... wuh-oh...

7hyekyos

Oh thank goodness! 7 hye kyos to save the day. whew!... nice try Henney, but you'll never tempt me. haha, no need to fret folks, im not sporting a rainbow flag yet, although if i keep watching Spring Waltz.... its raining men, hallelujah....

well, i started watching korean dramas no thanks to my former room mate, frantz. he tells me he's gonna be my drama mate and then he bails, now im stuck addicted to them all by myself. which... isnt bad at all. why am i complaining again? i just finished autumn in my heart aka autumn fairy tale. so good. i even put up the theme music. wow... it had me crying like a baby. like i didnt even realize the effect of crying on the eyes. i watched 3 episodes of it (eps 12-14, theyre near the end so its really dramatic) right before i had to go to school.. wow... my eyes were all red and puffy... it was no good. but i fell in love again with the female lead, Song Hye Kyo. i was in love with her over the summer as well, when i watched her in "Full House"... but my cheating black heart led me astray to another actress for the briefest of moments. to demonstrate my new found devotion, this entry will be dedicated to Song Hye Kyo.

shk1

... sigh...  what was i talking about?... oh yea... song hye kyo, why are u so lovely?... sigh... what was i talking about? ...

ah, originally i wanted to put up screenshots from autumn fairy tale, so i went to this site with her pics on it hoping to find them. unfortunately... i kinda forgot the reason why i went and ended up looking through about 850 of her pics. much to my jealous angry rage, she has appeared in pics with regular dudes that couldve been me. here are some of them with helpful commentary by me.

shk2

yes, guy number one. as u can read, i hate him. his elbow is way too close to the air that surrounds her. if its closer than 1 foot, i hate him.

shk6

wow... the nerve of this guy. hand on shoulder!?!? my jealous rage knows no bounds when i look at this picture. any more rageous and im gonna split my pants, rip off my shirt, and turn green.

shk8

way way too close puppy. my hate does not discriminate, different species, i still hate you.

shk5

id give my left eyebrow to be that dog right there.  man, if eating dogfood and drinking out of toilets is what its going to take... sign me up. mebbe i can bathe in rogaine... get me some of that fur growing.

and well a couple of more pics to complete my song hye kyo shrine.

shk16

f-i-n-e...

shk14

luckiest cherry in the world.

well, last thing is i wanna thank my friends charlie and sam for bringing Song Hye Kyo into my life. they got me the box set of Full House over the summer. But as grateful as i am to them, if they come within 11.999... inches of her, we are going to throw down... grrrr....

my book smarts and common sense must share an inverse relationship with one another. i've been in school 3 weeks now and ive pretty much kept up with my work (something i havent been able to say for the past yr and a half). so i sorta figure im getting more booksmarts. but last week i noticed my hair was a little bit too long in the front for my liking. instead of going to my hair cutter, i grabbed a pair of scissors, took 2 snips and well...

IMG_0186

haha, yea, i gave myself a bowl cut. just now my mom laughed at me.... which kinda hurt ={... haha, man, its not even a nice straight bowl cut, looks like my 6 yr oldcousin went to work on my head. instead its a 25 yr old man...

well, not much going on as usually in my life. i started working out regularly again. trying to undo the damage caused by world of warcraft. the minute i accomplish my goal of getting ripped, i will put up a picture of myself just to show off because i am that conceited. but until then, heres a pic of john basedow in all his ripped glory.

johnbasedow

well i've been watching this cartoon show from nickelodean called Avatar: The Last Airbender. A friend introduced me to it. i must admit, it is pretty good. bout a child hero thrust into the role of world savior. normally i cant stand child heroes, but this one is cool cause he's funny, modest, and at times uncertain.

ang ang 1

that's the hero, ang.

angkatara sokka

these are his friends, katara and sokka.

gaptooth

and heres a random gaptooth girl cause she looks funny.

well, for lack of anything better to write, i dug up the pokemon cards that i purchased while i was in COLLEGE and took pictures of them. why? well, if ever i become rich and famous, u guys can have something to blackmail me with. i think theres a pic of me playing yugioh the yr before i went to lawschool.

IMG_0188

look at that, look how many there are in there, that box is about 20-24 inches long. dragonair, electabuzz, pikachu, gyrrados, and raichu are the ones im holding. its sad, but i can still remember their names just by looking at the pictures. and no im not reading the top of the cards. show me any pokemon from the 1st 2 seasons, and ill name em for u.

IMG_0190

and my favorite, WIGGLYTUFF! just cause the name is so cutesy... like combining a bunny with a strawberry sprinkled frosted cupcake. notice the 1st edition mark on middle right hand side of the card. 1st edition cards are suppose to be worth more given their limited print run. shows i am one of those elitist card collectors. some kids might go up to me and say "I have a holofoil charizard, holofoil blastoise, and a holofoil mewtwo!" and i would respond "ah, but are they first edition?" little did i realize pokemon's popularity would go down the crapper and both 1st edition and normal cards would be worth nothing...
